About the Host
Udo Fluck lives with his family in the beautiful state Montana, in the western United States. Its wide-open spaces are home to roughly 2.6 million head of beef cattle, more than two head of cattle for every human in Montana and that is not counting pigs and chickens. Hunting and fishing provides additional diversity in the kitchen.
With high-quality ingredients in abundance, an outdoor kitchen, consisting of a charcoal bar-b-q, a gas grill and an electric smoker, as well as a passion for food preparation Udo and his wife Nancy, have been collecting cookbooks from their international travels, experimented as a kitchen-team and have entertained family and friends from near and far, for over a quarter of a century. Together they have hosted annual fundraising dinners as festive events at their home, promoting and supporting worthy causes of local non-profit organizations.
Udo and Nancy have been inspired by other local, national and international food enthusiasts and have created their own unique recipes, celebrating both their personal German background, as well as the culture, traditions and food customs of their host country, state and local community.
Udo hopes this website inspires the visitor to experiment, grill, smoke and dine passionately and that one never eats alone!
